And so it begins

Our trip has begun, we actually don't fly to Alaska until tomorrow morning leaving Toronto at 7:00 am!!!  That means we need to be at the airport at 5:00 am,  waking up at 4:00 am.  OMG!!!

We want to thank our good friend Chuck and his son Adam, who drove us out to our hotel near the airport where we can stay tonight, get to bed early and be ready to go.  If we had stayed home we would have been up at 2:00 am.  I know what you are thinking, why not just stay up all night?  Those days are long over for us at this age.

We arrived at our hotel at 2:30 pm.  Now what to do?  We waited until happy hour (4:00 pm) walked next door to the local bar and spent the next 4 hours eating, drinking and playing pool.  This is why we enjoy each others company so much, Barb and I can find ways to enjoy our time together no matter where we are, even if we suck at pool.

Tomorrow we will be heading to Vancouver with a 2 hour stop, then off to Anchorage.  Time zone is 4 hours earlier than here at home, so if we post at 11:00 pm it will be 3:00 am Eastern Time.
