The walking dead have arrived

So, the morning started at 4:00 am Eastern Time.  First stop, as soon as we got to our gate at the airport, was Timmies.  Can you tell I'm forcing this smile!  God what are we doing up so early.

Our first leg of todays travel was to Vancouver on a modern Boeing 787. I'm not sure if it was the plane, but the ride was so very smooth.

We had a two hour layover in Vancouver before continuing on to Anchorage Alaska.  19 degrees Celsius here today. Now we have seen the Canadian Rockies before as I'm sure many of you have, but the mountains in Alaska are even more spectacular.  Barb, our tour photographer took 121 pictures today, mainly from the plane over the snow covered giants in Alaska, spectacular!

So after a total of 12 hours of travel today, 8 in the air, we are walking around like zombies and it is only 7:00 pm here.   Our hotel is wonderful and we took a short walk down the road to see the mountains from the ground.

Looks like a nice place to work if you are a Hilti Sales Rep.

Tomorrow we fly to Fairbanks where we will stay for a few days to begin our land tour.
